On this day nine years ago, freshman Taylor Colucci took 2nd in the 200 meters at the Division III Championships.
Colucci was the youngest sprinter to make the 17-man semifinal and earned a place in the final with a time of 23.29, good enough for second overall after the preliminary rounds.
In the final, Colucci dropped his time to 23.23 to take 2nd place. He also added a 5th place finish in the the 100 meter final in a field of seniors.
