On this day 15 years ago, Liam Banks ’98 notched 4 points to lead the fourth-ranked Syracuse University men’s lacrosse team over #11 Loyola, 17-6. The win marked Syracuse’s largest margin of victory vs. the Greyhounds since a 21-9 win in the 1990 National Championship.

Banks bulged the net twice in the first half to help the Orangemen build a 9-1 lead, then added two second half assists in the rout.

Banks and ‘Cuse would go on to earn a 13th consecutive berth in the NCAA Final Four.
