Passalacqua slides into second during the 2002 season

On this day 15 years ago, Anthony Passalacqua ’99 drove in 3 runs for Erskine College in an 11-1 victory over North Greenville University.

The former Bear went 3-for-5 at the plate including a 1st inning single, a 2nd inning run-scoring single, and a 6th inning two-run double to power the Flying Fleets as they improved to 13-6 on the season.

Passalacqua led the team in batting in 2003 with a .391 average. He was also ranked the 14th toughest batter to strikeout in the NCAA that year as he was fanned just eight times in 175 at bats.
