On this day 19 years ago, the Hanchett brothers helped lead Gettysburg College to a 25-10 victory over Messiah.

Sam, Class of ’95, scored 2 goals and added an assist while Charlie, Class of ’97, scored a goal to help the Bullets roll to the season opening win. Gettysburg would go on to win the Centennial Conference Championship for the second straight year and and earn a berth in the Division III NCAA Tournament.
