January 16, 2018
B Basketball 2018

Seamus Scanlon has been key for the Bears (PC: Caitlyn O’Neill)

This morning the latest New York State Sportswriters Association boys’ basketball rankings were released and our Bears moved up one spot from last week to #7 on the list.

This is the ninth straight week, dating back to last season, that the Bears have been included in the state’s top 20 list, all of which they’ve spent ranked in the top 15.

The Bears currently sit at 8-1 and return to the court today in their League VII opener at Babylon, currently the 21st-ranked Class B team in New York.
