Yesterday afternoon, the boys’ swim team earned their third win of the season in a 54-39 victory over Deer Park.

The Bears won five of the eight individual events as Spencer Griffin took the 200 freestyle (1:57.68) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.70), Hunter Markowitz won the 200 individual medley (2:15.37) and 500 freestyle (5:17.77), and Markus Calero paced the field in the 50 freestyle (25.73).

The Bears also took two of the three relay events as Jack Thiele, Oliver Griffin, Robert Fehrenbach, and Henry Bi won the 200 medley relay (2:00.35) and Spencer Griffin, Calero, Bi, and Markowitz joined forces to win the 200 freestyle (1:42.79).

The Bears are back in the water on January 16 in a match-up at Hauppauge.
