On this day 38 years ago, Kevin Lockerbie ’77 won the 1,000 yard run for the University of North Carolina at the East Coast Relays in Richmond, VA.

The former Brooker paced the field in 2:15 in his first run of the season and earned one of four Tar Heel victories on the day.
