Bears Move Up to #9 in State Rankings

James Toney has led the Bears to a 7-1 start (PC: Gabby Germain)
The boys’ basketball team, despite not having played a game since Dec. 20th, moved up to #9 in this morning’s New York State Sportswriters Association Class C rankings. They were slotted at #10 last week.
This is the seventh straight week, dating back to last season, that the Bears have been included in the state’s top 20 list, all of which they’ve spent ranked in the top 15.
The Bears currently sit at 7-1 and return to the court on Jan. 15th in a home match-up with Pierson.
