On this day 10 years ago, the girls’ soccer team won the program’s first Long Island Championship in a 3-0 victory over Friends Academy. Brianna Stiklickas and Rebekah Sides scored goals for the Bears while Danielle Pappas recorded the shutout between the posts.

It was the first of the three Long Island titles that would come at the Quakers expense as the Bears erected a soccer dynasty.
