This morning, after last night’s thrilling 21-18 victory over William & Mary, Don Liotine ’13 and fellow running backs Stacey Bedell and Jordan Gowins were named the Offensive Players of the Game for Stony Brook University.

The “three-headed monster” racked up 277 total yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Seawolves to a 4-1 record (3-0 in the CAA). Liotine accounted for 116 of those total yards and two of the three scores. His first touchdown, a nine-yard run, gave the Seawolves a 14-0 lead with 40 seconds left in the first half. His second score came on a 61-yard pass play in the third quarter which staked Stony Brook a 21-0 edge that proved to be just enough.

Liotine and the Seawolves are back in action next Saturday at home vs. Delaware.
