In the annual Suffolk Coaches Invitational on Saturday, seven Bears covered the famed course at Sunken Meadow State Park on an unseasonably hot day.

On the girls’ side, Miranda Harrigan finished in 12th place out of 134 in the varsity B race in a time of 22:26. In the same race Judy Tao took 88th place (28:11) and Anne-Sarah Nichitiu came in 89th (28:22).

For the boys’ team, Aidan Harrigan placed 42nd out of 131 in the 1.47 mile freshman race in 9:19. He was was 4th among 8th-graders in the field. Riley Corcoran (29th place/20:56) and Emmanuel Ajewole (53rd/21:55) ran well in a field of 145 in the sophomore race. In the varsity A race, Josh Lin took 76th out of 169 in 21:09.

The Bears return to dual meet action on Tuesday with Pierson at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor.
