On Monday night, the volleyball team will seek its first County Championship in program history in a match-up with top-seeded Pierson/Bridgehampton. Here is what you need to know.

- The Bears earned a place in the final after a 3-1 upset victory over second-seeded Port Jeff on Wednesday. Pierson made the final after outlasting Mercy, 3-2.
- The victory was the Bears’ first in the playoffs since 2009.
- This is the Bears’ first berth in the County Championship since 2014.
- The Bears fell to Pierson twice this season by scores of 3-1 and 3-0.
