Today, at the Great Dane Classic in Staten Island, Alexandra Russo ’13 ran a personal best in the 3000 to place 6th in a field of 39 runners.

Her time of 10:01.89 broke her own personal record set at the Metro Challenge (10:02.62) last season.

Russo and the Villanova Wildcats will take the track again next week in the Gotham Cup.
