Liotine’s TD Helps SBU Tame Wildcats
Don Liotine ’13 rushed for 39 yards on 11 carries and scored his first collegiate touchdown last night as Stony Brook University dominated the 13th-ranked University of New Hampshire, 31-6. The victory was the Seawolves’ first over UNH, the reigning Colonial Athletic Conference Champions.
Liotine’s touchdown opened up the second half scoring as he took it into the end zone from four yards out with 9:41 left in the third quarter. The score would prove to be an early death knell for the Wildcats who could not muster much of a fight the rest of the way.
The 2-0 Seawolves travel to Williamsburg, VA next Saturday for a matchup with William & Mary.
