On Tuesday night, the three-time reigning Suffolk County Class C Champions were honored at the annual All-County Banquet.
Seniors Robbie Colarusso and Luke Meyer were honored as All-League and All-Conference (Leagues VI & VIII) recipients. Jyles Etienne joined them on the All-League team and was also named the League VIII Rookie of the Year. Erik Holvik was honored on the League VIII All-Academic team.
The banquet’s program listed the season statistics and the Bears were represented both as a team and individually. Robbie Colarusso had the 23rd-highest scoring average in Suffolk County with 17.6 points per game. Additionally, the Bears had the 13th-highest scoring average (57.7) among the small schools (Classes A, B, C & D) and the sixth-best defense, yielding just 50.8 points per game. They also had the 10th-highest average point differential among the small schools (6.9).
