On this day 20 years ago, the wrestling team won the Lexington Holiday Tournament for the sixth time in nine years.

Liam Banks (105 lbs), Eric Hannas (138 lbs), and Mike Hoskins (155 lbs) all left the mat as champions while Chris Drew (119 lbs), Ed Hughey (177 lbs), and Matt Bitonti (215 lbs) each garnered third place finishes to help the Bears top the eight team field. It was coach Jim Favino’s second time winning the tournament in his four years with the blue and white.
