On this day 62 years ago, the cross country team brought home a fourth consecutive Ivy League Championship. Jim Osuna paced the harriers, winning a second individual Ivy League crown.

The Brook exacted revenge on Poly Prep in the process. After falling to Poly 31-24 in the season opener, the Brook topped their rivals from Brooklyn in the rematch.
