Liotine Scores as Adelphi Rolls

The Adelphi University women’s soccer team improved to 4-0 on the young season after a 4-0 victory over Southern Connecticut State University today. Senior captain Donna Liotine ’11 scored her first goal of the season for the Panthers, ranked 13th nationally, as they buried the Owls beneath an offensive barrage. In each of the Panthers’ four wins this year they have tallied at least four goals with a high mark of six. They will put their perfect record on the line this Saturday at home vs. Queens College.

With the win Stony Brook alums are 14-0 so far this season. Wes Woodley ’11 and the North Park University men’s soccer team are 5-0, Jerome Washington ’12 and the Gattaca football team are 3-0, Margot Rashba ’14 and the Tufts University women’s cross country team are 1-0, and Shane Kelley ’10 and the Malone Rugby Football Club are 1-0.
