Agyei-Gyamfi (#7) won it for the Brook

In a tightly contested game that saw five yellow cards and two red cards handed out, the boys soccer team emerged with their first win of the season in a double-overtime thriller at the Ross School.

The Cosmos got on the board first and maintained their 1-0 lead until forty seconds remained in the game when Khendrick Beausoleil took advantage of a two-on-one opportunity to assist Jason Lee on the equalizer.

As the game moved to overtime, the teams remained deadlocked through the first extra period, but the surging Bears were knocking on the door. Then, just six minutes into the second overtime, the Bears received the benefit of a Ross handball in the box, resulting in a penalty kick opportunity. Senior captain Josh Agyei-Gyamfi coolly banged it home to give the Brook a 2-1 victory on enemy soil.
