Rashba, the reigning Class D County Champion, paces the Bears

Yesterday afternoon, the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams ran away from the Ross School in their dual meets at Sunken Meadow State Park. The girls swept the Cosmos in their first league meet, 15-50, led by Margot Rashba’s personal record time of 20:59. Her time is the 9th best among sophomores this season at Sunken Meadow and places her in 31st overall in the county.

On the boys’ side, freshman Jacob Brummeler won the three-mile race in 19:35 to lead the Bears to a 20-41 victory.
