Suffolk County Football Leaderboard

September 19, 2011

Washington snares a key 1st down in the 2nd half against Mercy

The football team, off to their first 2-0 start since 2006, is among one of the highest scoring teams in Suffolk County.  Their 81 points through two games is the highest total in Division IV, besting Amityville by 17 points.  They are also one of just five teams, out of the fourteen in Division IV, with a 2-0 record, joining Amityville, Glenn, Center Moriches and Shoreham-Wading River.

Several of our boys have performed well enough to crack the Suffolk County leaderboard.  Wyatt Piazza is currently ranked 12th in Suffolk in passing yardage with 120 yards and his 2 touchdown passes leaves him tied for 7th.  Jerome Washington is tied for 19th in receptions with 3 and his 79 receiving yards slots him at #12.  Nick Pizzichillo is tied for 6th in sacks with 2 and Andrew White is tied for 25th with 1.
