Liotine Named Gridiron Great by Newsday

Liotine races toward the end zone on an 80 yard TD to close the 1st half

In Sunday’s edition of Newsday, Donnie Liotine was one of only twelve football players on Long Island mentioned in a section called “Gridiron Greats,” on the merits of his exceptional performance over the weekend.

[Liotine] had 217 all-purpose yards with two rushing TDs, a receiving TD, and a passing TD in a 43-35 win over Mercy. He also added 9 tackles.
