The fields of Stony Brook have been dormant for nearly three months but the 90th season of Blue and White football began with preseason camp this evening. In the waning August sunlight, the Bears began working toward what they hope will be a successful season. They will take the field for the first time on September 1 in a scrimmage vs. St. Dominic’s at 5:00pm.

Hi Louise! I’m so glad you liked the pictures. I always loved this time of year as well when the quiet fields came alive once again with whistles and the sounds of pads hitting. Glad it made you remember home.
