Haas Goes Yard

Haas (taking a cut vs. Port Jeff) hit a moonshot yesterday

The baseball team may have fallen to Mercy yesterday, but junior Ryan Haas provided a highlight for the faithful fans seated around Jeff Adams Memorial Field. The first baseman put a charge into a pitch from the Monarchs’ ace, driving it not only over the fence, but over the 15-foot high scoreboard in left field. The abused ball finally came to rest in the Pulliams’ yard.
