Each year the wrestling team grapples with much larger schools during our dual meet season. The size of our school perennially hamstrings our matmen as they are unable to fill every weight class, surrendering valuable points. However, despite our limitations in the team competitions, we had several of impressive individual performances this season as Austin Hulse, Hunter Hulse, and Tyler Anderson made the semifinals of the Suffolk County Tournament.

Hunter and Tyler ended their season with 4th place finishes while Austin took 2nd place. While Tyler, one of the Bears’ finest wrestlers during his career, moves on along with Ben Cotten, there is plenty of talent returning for coach Mark Maningo. The Hulses are back along with Wyatt Piazza and Anthony Garone who will lead a promising group into next season.
