Kristyn Dunleavy ’07 helped Amherst College, ranked #1 nationally in Division III women’s basketball, improve to 4-0 against visiting Clark University yesterday. Dunleavy drilled three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points for the Lord Jeffs as they rolled 88-49 over the Cougars. Dunleavy is currently fourth on the team in scoring at 7.5 points per game and is tied for first in 3-pointers with six.

Dunleavy has earned a reputation as a sharp-shooter on the wings for the Jeffs, raising her three-point shooting percentage from 34% as a sophomore to a team-leading 39% last season. Dunleavy played in all 33 games last season, and will be expected to help lead the team on and off the court in her final season for Amherst.
