On this day 62 years ago, Stony Brook’s cross country team finished the season undefeated with a 7-0 record. The fledgling program, in only its third varsity season, still had not forfeited a meet in its young history and stood at a collective 21-0. The squad was paced by Ron Hill, Bruce Dodd, Frank Dorman, and Carl Kjelland.
