On This Day In History | 2008

November 1, 2010

The girls soccer team won the 28th Suffolk County Championship in school history after an epic victory over Pierson.  The Bears and the Lady Whalers played a marathon of a match in which neither team scored for 108 minutes until Sadie Singer, a defender, won the 2nd straight Championship for the Brook in the 4th overtime off of a deflected shot.  Danielle Pappas had 7 saves in the win.  It was the 1st of 3 championships the girls won that fall along with the Long Island and Regional Championships.
