New York State Boys’ Soccer Rankings

October 19, 2010

The current boys soccer Class C New York State rankings include two League VIII opponents, both of whom the Bears have defeated this season; however, Stony Brook is glaringly absent from the list.  On 10/8 the Brook defeated Port Jeff, currently #9 on the list, by a 3-0 margin.  On 9/22 the boys defeated #15 Southold 2-1 on their home turf.  While the Brook has not garnered the recognition they deserve, what really matters is where the teams fall when the season’s most important matches have been played.
