Hans Parker outpaces a Ross defender

On this day two years ago, the boys’ soccer offense erupted in a victory over the Ross School.

From the opening moments of the match, it was apparent Hans Parker was going to have a special day. Just seconds into the game, Parker found the net to give the Bears a 1-0 lead, but the senior still had plenty of scoring left. Before the final horn Parker finished with a hat trick, leading the Blue and White to a 7-0 victory over the Ravens.

Gonzalo Peña, Anuraag Sah, Tyler Anderson, and Franz Lawrence tallied the remaining goals. Parker commented on his finest performance:

“It was only possible with a great team. Coming back from an injury I had to put in a lot of work and took the time to practice. Thanks to coach and the team that made it possible.”
