The 1995 Stony Brook boys’ lacrosse team returned ten starters from the previous year’s County Championship squad and had their eyes on back-to-back titles. After winning Division II for the 2nd straight year, the Bears got a chance to repeat history against Half Hollow Hills West in the County Final. The Colts again proved themselves as a worthy adversary, but the script remained unchanged for the Blue and White who captured their second County Championship with an 8-7 win.
