On Friday afternoon, the boys’ tennis team made Senior Day on the Hollis Courts sweeter with a 4-1 victory that swept the season series from Portledge.

Liam Swords dropped his first set but rallied for a key 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 victory. Raphael Popescu’s #2 singles match also went three sets as the senior won, 6-4, 2-6, 10-8.

The Bears lost the #3 singles match, but each of the doubles teams won in straight sets as Wyatt Moller and Mark Marinescu (6-3, 6-4) and Jack Snyder and Max Kaylakov (7-5, 7-5) closed out the victory for the Bears.
