On Friday evening, the girls’ lacrosse team renewed hostilities with Portledge and defended Fitch Field in a 14-5 win that represented their fifth straight victory over their league rivals.
The Bears jumped out to a commanding 7-0 lead after one quarter before extending their margin to 9-2 at the half. The Bears shut out the Panthers in the third frame to carry a 13- advantage into the fourth before salting away the 14-5 Senior Night win.
Mia Trama led all scorers with 5 goals and 1 assist. Natalia Pagano (4 G), Sophia Dabbraccio (2 G, 1 A), Ali Puopolo (1 G), and Ella Middlekauff (1 G) also notched points for The Brook. Sienne Eum (4 saves) and Genevieve Rochlin (1 save) stood tall in goal for the Bears.
