On Thursday afternoon, the girls’ lacrosse team completed a season sweep of Staten Island Academy with a 16-7 rout on Fitch Field.
The Bears jumped out to a 4-2 lead after the first quarter, which grew to 10-3 at the half. Both sides played an even 4-4 third frame before the Bears shut out the visitors in the fourth quarter.
Natalia Pagano led all scorers with 6 goals and an assist. The sophomore recently notched her 100th career goal and Sophia Dabbraccio (4 G), Mac Vesey (2 G), Mia Trama (1 G, 2 A), Ali Puopolo (1 G, 1 A), Ella Middlekauff (1 G), and Sera Prinz (1 A) also notched points for the Bears. Genevieve Rochlin and Sienna Eum each recorded 4 saves in goal.
