On a frigid Friday night beneath the Buyers Park lights, the girls’ lacrosse team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 15-5 victory over Our Lady of Mercy. It marked the third time in as many games that the Bears have registered double-digit goals to go along with a 14-9 win over Hampton Bays and 15-1 victory over Staten Island Academy.
The Bears notched 11 first half goals before cruising to the win, thanks to four scores from Natalia Pagano.
Pagano led all scorers for the game with 5 goals and 2 assists. Mia Trama continued to be the other half of a dynamic duo with 4 goals and 2 assists. Ali Puopolo (2G), Sophia Dabbraccio (1G, 1A), Ella Middlekauff (1G), Mac Vesey (1G), and Sera Prinz (1G) also found the net for the Bears.
The Blue & White is back in action on April 2 in a non-league match-up at Dalton.
