After a 27-point performance in Monday’s thrilling 70-67 win over Holy Trinity, senior Dylan Kopp has taken over the top spot on the Long Island Private School scoring list. He also ranks #2 on all of Long Island by less than a point per game. His season-high mark is a 29-point performance in a 64-61 win over Knox.
The last boys’ basketball player to lead Long Island in scoring was Tim Pandolfi ’11 whose 28.0 points per game led the island 13 years ago this month. He finished his senior year with a 26.5 ppg average.
