On Friday afternoon, Duncan Kipkoech ran at Sunken Meadow State Park for the final time in his career, taking 7th overall in the Suffolk Coaches Invite.

He lowered his personal record on the course to 17:47, three seconds better than the 17:50 he ran last week, for the fastest time on the course for a Bear since 2002. John Duggal (18th/18:39), Troy Meng (21st/18:51), Roger Zhou (78th/21:13), and Clinton Kilroy (94th/21:35) also scored for the Bears, who finished 3rd overall out of 19 teams.

Sophia Dabbraccio was the Bears’ top finisher in the girls’ race, taking 35th place in 23:06.
