On Wednesday and Friday afternoon, the boys’ soccer team earned a pair of wins over Long Island Lutheran that upped their league record to 3-0.
They traveled to Brookville on Wednesday and returned to campus with a 9-0 win. The Bears built a 5-0 lead at the half, and the offensive assault continued in the second 40. John Fay and Luka Philip-Ikpo each had a pair of goals to lead the Bears.
On Friday, the Bears built a 6-0 halftime advantage en route to an 8-2 win on Fitch Field. Isaiah Pam exploded for 4 goals to lead The Brook. Daniel He (1G, 1 A), James Fay, Aidan Riley, and Aiden Ruiz also scored for the Bears, while Philip-Ikpo, Jayson Amin and John Bui added assists. Juju Martinez, Bowen Yang, and Daniel Thiele split time in goal, and each notched a save.
The Bears return to the field on Friday night in a key league match-up with Portledge.
