Over the weekend, Carina Cristobal ’23 won her collegiate debut for Colgate University at the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, PA.

The Raiders fell to 2022-23 Patriot League runner-up Army in the first round of singles action, but Cristobal won her first college match to provide a bright spot for Colgate in the 3-5 loss. The freshman also won her singles match vs. Lehigh to help the Raiders to a 5-2 victory.

To close a successful weekend, Cristobal partnered with Amelia Galin to win a doubles match in Colgate’s 3-1 doubles victory over St. Joseph’s University.

Cristobal and the Raiders return to the court on Friday at the Army Invitational in West Point.
