On Friday afternoon, the girls’ tennis team improved to 8-0 on the season with a 5-0 win over Long Island Lutheran that represented their 26th straight victory in league play.

Carina Cristobal (6-0, 6-0), Sarah Arrieta (6-0, 6-0), and Alanna Wu (6-0, 6-0), were perfect at singles while Ali Cristobal and Isabel Guo (6-0, 6-0) and Sam Cox and Fiona Rivas (6-1, 6-2) completed the sweep at doubles.

The Bears are back in action on Friday when they travel to Locust Valley for Portledge Day. A victory would give the Bears a fifth consecutive regular season championship.
