Yesterday afternoon, the girls’ lacrosse team improved to 2-0 in PSAA play after returning home from Randall’s Island with a 16-4 victory over Avenues.

Natalia Pagano, Morgan Ruggieri, and Mia Trama powered the offense with 4 goals each while Alexis Savage and Alexandra Puopolo added two goals apiece. Ruggieri also led the team in draw controls with 7 while Sydneyanna Giardini added 5 ground balls. Emily Berger added 7 saves in net.

The Bears are back in action on Monday when they host Columbia Prep in a league tilt.
