Felix Scorches Waldorf with 36

On Friday night, the girls’ basketball team topped Waldorf, 57-20, for their sixth win in their last seven games.

Beth Felix led the way with 36 points (seven 3-pointers) to nearly equal the school record for points in a game (39) set by Kristyn Dunleavy ’07 on two occasions. The Bears jumped out to a 21-2 lead after the first quarter, took a 30-14 lead into the half, then put the game away with an 18-3 third frame.

Along with her 36 points, Felix added 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 7 blocks. Niamh Scanlon (8), Sarah Hull (6), Nadia Hall (4), and Wura Obasanjo (2) rounded out the scoring for the Brook.
