On this day 43 years ago, the boys’ cross country team closed a fifth consecutive League Championship season with a 20-38 win over Center Moriches.

Led by Mark Whitney, Mark Soderstrom, and Brad Bright, the Blue and White ran through their dual meets with an 8-1 record, won the Suffolk County Championship, and finished 6th at the State Championship.
