On this day 55 years ago, Robin Lingle ’60 led a dominant victory for the University of Missouri cross country team as they topped Kansas State, 15-48.

Lingle covered the three-mile home course in 15:18.7 to take 1st  place. Four Tiger teammates followed on his heels for the clean sweep over the Wildcats. Lingle went on to win the individual League Championship in 1963.
