On this day 34 years ago, Roger Wycoff was named the Most Outstanding Swimmer at the Long Island Coaches Meet.

The senior dominated the field, winning the 200 individual medley by over seven seconds in 2:00.06 and the 500 freestyle by over 12 seconds in 4:45.24. Roger’s sister, Ann Marie, took 3rd in the 500 free in a time of 5:04.79.
