On Saturday, Luke O’Connor ’16 followed up a career-high 13-point performance vs. Old Westbury, with 12 points against Purchase College in an 81-79 victory for Sarah Lawrence College.
In a game that featured four ties and 13 lead changes, the Gryphons used a 7-0 spurt to break away from a 50-50 tie, capped by one of O’Connor’s four 3-pointers. The former Bear finished 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and grabbed 4 rebounds in just 14 minutes of work.
O’Connor and the Gryphons are back on the court on January 30 in a Skyline Conference match-up with Old Westbury.
