Yesterday afternoon, the boys’ swim team downed North Babylon, 103-76, to earn their fourth win of the season. In the first two years after the program restarted in 2016, following a more than 10-year hiatus, the Bears had a combined record of 1-15. This year they are 4-4 in a very competitive League III, a testament to the incredible work of our student-athletes and coaching staff.
Co-captains Hunter Markowitz (200 freestyle and 500 freestyle) and Spencer Griffin (200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke) each earned two victories each to lead the way.
The Bears are back in the pool on Monday in a home match-up with Huntington/Harborfields.
