On Saturday, Francine Leung turned in a season best leap of 15′ 7.5″ to claim 3rd place in the open long jump at the Art Mitchell Invitational at Suffolk West Community College.

She was the best junior in the field, trailing only two senior jumpers who are ranked among the best in Suffolk County. Her jump places her 22nd out of 90 jumpers in Suffolk this season.
