On this day four years ago, the boys’ basketball team pummeled Port Jeff on a raucous Friday night in Swanson Gymnasium.

The Bears’ incredible pressure defense allowed just one field goal in the first half, while forcing 12 turnovers, and 1-for-17 shooting as they built an insurmountable 35-3 lead. You can find a detailed breakdown of each of Port Jeff’s possessions here.

Bryce Jackson, a senior who came out for the team for the first time that season, recorded a double-double off the bench with 13 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 blocks to lead the Bears to a dominant 51-29 win and a 2-0 record. Asaiah Wilson (11), Eli Davis (11), Chase Audige (10), Andrew Daniel (4 points/ 13 rebounds), and Mike Dingammadji (2) rounded out a balanced scoring attack for the Brook.
