On this day 48 years ago, Dan Stevens ’67 finished 16th at the Heps Men’s Cross Country Championships to help the University of Pennsylvania finish second behind Harvard.

The former Brooker covered the Van Cortlandt Park course in 26:03.

While at the Brook, Stevens won the prestigious Ossining Invite in 1965, then won the Ivy League title in 1966 to help the Brook to a 12th consecutive team championship.
